We thought long and hard about what the meaning of a wedding is to us. What it symbolizes, what means the most to us, what we love and why we are doing it.

A wedding symbolizes a lifelong commitment and the formation of different families becoming one... But to us, it’s also a day to celebrate this amazing milestone in a way that truly reflects who we are as a couple.

To understand what we wanted, we had to reflect on what makes us who we are. We feel alive when we are travelling, we love completely new experiences and creating special memories, a passion of ours is getting together with those dear to us and enjoying the moment together, we are unbelievably proud of our Italian heritage, and most of all, what we really love, is to have a good time!

So we would love to invite you to join us, in a 3-day celebration on the Mediterranean island of Sicily in the romantic and breathtaking country of Italy.

Why did we choose Taormina, Sicily over all the other amazing places in the world? Well first, we thought given our Italian heritage, it would be a really special place for us and some of the families. Italy radiates and blossoms with love and romance, which is perfect for an event dedicated to it. Italy is known for its spectacular food and drinks, plus it’s a very approachable country in terms of travel for those who don’t travel often. Italy boasts a stunning array of diverse landscapes, from the rolling vineyards of Tuscany to the dramatic ocean-side cliffs of the Amalfi Coast and the majestic peaks of the Dolomites. We wanted a location where guests could either start or end their trip, so we picked a location at the very southern tip, that way seeing the rest of the country meant you could just head in one direction. We had this beautiful image in our minds that kept calling to us, beautiful beaches with neon blue waters, warm Mediterranean sunshine, classy and exciting city life that has true Italian culture... and by luck we found it! Perched above the Ionian Sea on Sicily's coast, Taormina is a captivating town embodying history, charm and liveliness. Cobblestone streets lead to hidden squares, adorned with flowers and music filled cafes. A blend of Italian and Mediterranean influences flavours the architecture, cuisine, and ambiance. Taormina is arguably one of the most up and coming places in all of Italy and we are lucky enough to have found the perfect place to get married there.
